Thursday, April 28th, 2011After one of the most memorable and interesting 1st rounds in recent memory, we are now ready to move on. In many ways the first round was a bit of a Bizzaro World for the hockey world. The Best Team in the League goes out to a 3-0 series lead, and somehow becomes the underdog, Nashville makes the second round, Boston beats Montreal, and the two most clutch teams are San Jose and Washington. Really, Detroit beating Phoenix and Philly having goaltending troubles are the only things that seem “right”.
In the past two years the 2nd Round have featured the Crosby-Ovechkin showdown, and the Greatest Collapse in Sporting History. Hopefully this year can live up to that kind of billing.

Predicting 2011
