Catching up on some Glenergy. Am I the only one who comments on you blogs?

I was reading your rant, and thinking about the same thing about chickens, pigs, cows, except from the exact opposite end: Why should tigers get the special treatment? It's not like Canada has cows running free in the wilderness anymore, but nobody's putting on "Run, Bessy, run!" protests. I can't say I support reduced protection for wild tigers, but augmenting that with tiger farms sounds like a lucrative venture for some Chinese farmers. If killing Bessy doesn't make you queasy, why not a new tigerskin?
